Hooch Multi Base Hydroponic System Builder

The Hooch Multi Base is a unique 3D printed solution for spiked wicking systems for rain gutter systems that allows you to expand to any size you like.
This model of Hooch Multi base features a single hole primarily designed for buckets, although you can use bags, we would recommend a double spike system for that applicaiton.

This pre-thought out kit comes complete with 500L Flexible Tank resevoir and hosing.
All you will need to do is choose which pipe style you have or want to use.

Option 1 - 90mm PVC Pipe (Ends Only, pipe would need to be sourced locally)

Option 2 - Australian Rain Gutter Downpipe (Amerimax) (Ends Only, pipe would need to be sourced locally)

Option 3 - NFT System, complete with 4 x 140cm long NFT Rails and end caps.

FAQ

What size pots is best?

#1 A standard 410mm Black Growers pot is the most used pot when it comes to the Hooch Multi Base. Incredibly rigid and easy to manage.

#2 Second hand food grade white 20L buckets that you would normally find at the back of restaurants / food prep places.

#3 Cheap PP UV stable bagging method. This is the most budget friendly option, but does require a heat sealer.

What starting media should I use?

Hydrated cocopeat with hydroponic nutrient  is the best choice. Rehydrated at 2.4 EC and a pH of 5.5 to 6.5
