This particular fitting is primarily used for feeding a higher flow of water to your sprinklers. Like a main vein that will not drop is flow, it is able to keep a higher ratio of water flow to pump that water further to your sprinkers, drippers or sprayers.

Think of using this with 6.3mm ID x 9.5mm Black Lightshield EVABarrier as the "spine" of your garden bed.
Then with these tee pieces as little vertebrae, tack off where you need your dripper to be. When plumbing in these to the left and right side of the hose, we have found it particularly useful to do so in even numbers. Pairing each sprinkler with another sprinkler, instead of putting an end plug into each one. That way it allows continous flow to aid the next sprinkler.
