"Used it for a few night now, and it certainly cranks out the heat. Without wrapping it got the plastic 4litre pet bottle up to 30 degrees! After that, I put a nice thick layer of towels around the bottle to moderate the heat. At full length it could go around a couple of 4l pet bottles."

Can be used in Fermzilla 55L ?: In it? Not a good idea :) Around it? No problem as long as there is enough liquid to spread the heat load.
